HushHushPlush is a free classroom noise meter for your board. Get quiet, catch Hushies, collect all 234: every stretch of quiet brings a new creature into the scene, and noise sends them running. Classes race to fill the Hushie Codex on a leaderboard.
How it works
- Open HushHushPlush on the board and allow the microphone. Set the noise limit or calibrate it in 5 seconds.
- Pick one of 12 illustrated worlds and start work time. Quiet brings Hushies in; too loud and they leave.
- Check the Hushie Codex and leaderboard to see which class period has caught the most.
What you get
- 12 illustrated scenes, from Whispering Woods to Haunted Hollow and holiday themes
- A live noise meter with a limit you set or calibrate in 5 seconds
- Built-in timer and your own note, shown right inside the scene
- Get quiet, catch Hushies: classes race to collect all 234 in the Hushie Codex
Questions teachers ask
Is HushHushPlush really free?
Yes. Every world, the timer, notes, the Hushie Codex and the class leaderboard are free, with no account needed.
Does HushHushPlush record my class?
No. It only measures how loud the room is. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
What are Hushies?
Hushies are the 234 creatures, scenery pieces and legendary rewards students collect by staying quiet. Each one gets a numbered spot in the Hushie Codex.
Can different class periods compete?
Yes. Add each period as a class. Every class keeps its own collection and races the others on the leaderboard.
Can I show it on top of my slides?
Yes. Press P for a small hover window that floats over your slides and keeps listening.
